Parks & Recreation

Catlettsburg has four parks located within the city limits.

Park Street Park is located by the Catlettsburg Little League Complex at the end of Park Street.

Pauline S. Hunt Park is located on Oakland Avenue. It consist of a full basketball court, gazebo which has been a site for weddings, parties and prom and graduation photos. There are also swings, teeter totter for the kids to play on. You can also stroll by the floodwall and reminisce looking at the murals painted on the wall.

A park located behind the old Charles (Bus) Gibbs property located on Center Street. Gibbs was Mayor of the town from 1966-1969 and again 1974-1981. This park has a basketball court, swings, slide, and benches.

Akers Park is located at Horse Branch. There are swings, slides, etc. for the kids. Great place for a picnic. There is also a basketball court.
